Guillotine blades sized 3100x100x25 mm are engineered for heavy-duty industrial shearing, primarily used in truck and container fabrication industries. These blades are designed to deliver continuous, precise cuts on high-tensile and wear-resistant steel plates, including Hardox™ and similar materials.

The blades are manufactured from Cr12MoV tool steel, known for its high wear resistance, toughness, and dimensional stability. Through advanced heat treatment and hardening, the blades reach a hardness level between 56–58 HRC, ensuring long-lasting sharpness and stability even under repetitive cutting cycles.

Hardox™ is a Swedish high-strength wear-resistant steel, commonly used in dump trucks, containers, and heavy-duty machinery. Its superior hardness and impact resistance make it difficult to cut using standard blades. Therefore, guillotine blades for Hardox™ must feature:

• High hardness (HRC 56+) to penetrate tough material
• Precision-ground edges to maintain clean cuts
• Optimized rake angle to reduce shear force and tool wear

These properties ensure minimal deformation of the workpiece and extended tool life.

Each blade includes countersink-style holes that allow flush fitting of bolts, distributing cutting stress evenly across the mounting surface.

The TFI key slot system provides secure alignment during installation, preventing lateral movement and maintaining cutting accuracy. This design is critical for heavy shearing where even slight misalignment can cause vibration or uneven wear.

Blades of 3100 mm length can be combined in tandem, forming a total cutting span of up to 6 meters. This feature is essential for large-scale fabrication, where long, continuous cuts on oversized steel sheets are required, such as container wall panels or truck chassis plates.
