The TFI Co. Bandsaw Blade M42, sized 7340 × 41 × 1.3 mm, is a high-performance bi-metal blade engineered for demanding metal cutting operations. Material Composition and Hardness

The M42 bi-metal construction combines a flexible spring steel backing with a high-speed steel (HSS) tooth edge containing cobalt (8%), ensuring outstanding wear resistance and long tool life. The tooth hardness reaches up to 67–69 HRC, providing stable cutting even under continuous operation and high feed rates.

Performance and Tooth Geometry

Each blade features a TPI 3/4 variable pitch tooth design, reducing vibration and improving surface finish when cutting solid bars, profiles, and tubes. The optimized rake angle and set pattern provide efficient chip removal, lowering heat generation and extending blade lifespan.
